Description

Slow Living invites us to slow down — not as a retreat, but as a conscious response to the world we inhabit. Conceived as a companion for kinder, more attentive living, the book brings together clear facts, thoughtful reflections, and practical actions for everyday life. Through themes such as slow food, slow health, slow fashion, slow w...ork, slow relationships, slow recreation, and slow democracy, it gently questions systems of inequality and the dominant cultural ideas that prize speed, excess, and endless growth. Drawing inspiration from everyday revolutions, the book shows how our personal choices and gentle acts of resistance can become a vote for consciousness. With recipes, growing tips, checklists, and to-do lists for resilience and quiet rebellion, Slow Living celebrates how small, mindful actions can heal our communities, restore our relationship with the Earth, and remind us that human happiness and planetary wellbeing grow together.
