Looking for an exceptional publishing professional who is passionate about turning ideas into well thought-out books.

As part of a small, dynamic and creative team, the candidate will work on ideating, commissioning authors and seeing a manuscript through publication. The candidate should have a keen interest in books and have awareness of publishing trends with an ambition to shape their own list of pictorial books and non–fiction books.

Candidates must:

  • Work across illustrated and non-illustrated material to create and mould an interesting list for the Roli publishing program.
  • Have fresh ideas that can be translated into books
  • Have previous publishing experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Be self motivated, up to a challenge, organised and a team player
  • Have awareness of the book industry in India
  • Have knowledge about the book making process

An exciting opportunity to lead the Roli Books DTP department (based in New Delhi). The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in Desktop Publishing (DTP) at a publishing company illustrated books experience mandatory. They should be organized, have thorough knowledge of relevant software and a proficiency in English.

We are looking to hire an experienced, enthusiastic and highly organized DTP head who will oversee the publishing house’s DTP operations across all lists and imprints. As a successful hire you will also be responsible for keeping to schedules, working on multiple books at the same time as well as managing the company archive

Designation: DTP Head/Manager:
An ideal candidate is someone with prior experience in publishing, in particular in illustrated books. In addition to having an in depth knowledge of all relevant software (ie Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Indesign) the candidate should have good interpersonal and analytical skills.
