She has never left her love for Kashmiri cooking wherever she has lived. Because of her husband’s profession as a journalist, a number of celebrities have dined with the family. These include Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Dutt to name a few. When she’s not trying a new recipe, Sarla spends time with her two lovely Retrievers, Bruno and Max.
