  Peter Church OAM holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New
  
  South Wales, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sydney and a Masters of Laws degree from the University of London. The countries and peoples of South East and South Asia have been his passion since childhood and
  
  he has spent almost all of his career involved with the Asian region as an international lawyer and corporate adviser.
  
  He is a founder and Chairman of AFG Venture Group, a corporate advisory firm
  
  (www.afgventuregroup.com) with operations in Australia, South East Asia and India and is Special Counsel to the English law firm, Stephenson Harwood (www.shlegal.com). He has a personal website www.peterchurch.com.au.
  
  He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 1994 for his services to the promotion of Australian business in South East Asia.
