The ideal candidate should have relevant experience at a publishing company. They should be organized, enterprising, and have a passion for promoting books, authors and stories.
With experience in marketing, communications and social media management. In addition to being an outstanding communicator, the candidate should also demonstrate effective interpersonal and organizational skills.

- Minimum 2 years experience as a content writer or in social media
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Photo and video-editing experience (optional, but preferred)
- Organizational skill and ability to multitask, to work on a number of projects at once
Responsibilities include:
- Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media and monthly emailers
- Promoting products, services and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with our brand and social media strategy
- Planning a calendar and scheduling social media posts using applications
- Interacting with customers and dealing with customers’ enquiries
- Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
- Author support – advise and communication for social media
- Work closely with book bloggers
- Analysis of digital marketing campaigns.
- Putting together a monthly newsletter
- Organize book events/launches
