We’re thrilled to share the wonderful news that Metronama by Rashmi Sadana which was published in the US under the name ‘The Moving City’, has been honored with the Pattis Family Foundation Global Cities Book Award. At the prestigious awards ceremony held on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, during the Pritzker Forum on Global Cities organized by The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the author received the 2nd place (Finalist) award.
She was given the award by the chair of the judging committee, Dr. Eugenie L. Birch, Nussdorf Professor of Urban Research at the University of Pennsylvania. The ceremony took place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
