On 20th December 2022, at India International Centre, Professor Vidya Dehejia, author of India: A Story through 100 Objects gave a lecture on different objects that tell the story of India. The lecture was introduced by William Dalrymple, author, and historian, who further moderated the talk with Prof. Dehejia. It was an evening dedicated to great historians discussing India’s history and the role different objects play in its foundation. The event ended with a great lineup of questions such as where would the Kohinoor be kept if it comes back one day and if there was there any particular object that Prof. Dehejia found revolting during her research.
