Cartoos Saab is the autobiography of the army veteran who fought in the Sino-Indian War of 1962 and two Indo-Pak wars of 1965 and 1971. He became the first war-disabled officer to be approved for command of a battalion and a brigade.
On Wednesday, 7th December, at Vasant Vihar Club, we celebrated the release of Maj Gen Cardozo’s inspiring story with a hall full of retired army officers. Mr. Pramod Kapoor, the founder Publisher of Roli Books, presented the wrapped books to the author, the moderator, and the President of the Vasant Vihar Club. After the unveiling of the book, former Army officer and military historian, Maroof Raza, moderated the talk with the retired Major General Ian Cardozo. They had a hefty discussion on Army life and experiences where they also reminisced about the past wars and how it affects the soldiers. The evening came to an end after Gen Cardozo signed his books for the audience.
