  Born on 3 March 2006 in Rajasthan, Lavanya Singh is known to have a creative flair and is said to “see things from a different perspective”. She has been an avid reader since her early age. She wrote her first poem at the age of 9, and continues to write. Her language and writing style remains cryptic yet simple. Her childhood poems show glimpses of a future sensitive poetess. She regularly uploads her poems on blog. She has also got good oratorial skills and has received many awards in debate and speech competitions. She started her education in Jaipur, did her schooling till 10th standard in Ahmedabad and is currently in 11th standard of Christ Junior College in Bangalore.
